Cities of Delhi
As remembrance to the eight settlements recorded in the history of Delhi, I have picked gates and/or water reservoirs from each location. As entrances to those ephemeral times, I felt the use of gates appropriate owing to their notion as bridges to what is inclusive and what lies outside; and water reservoirs being the fuel which drives the colony.
